

The 34th exhibition forum “Agrocomplex,” will open in Ufa on March 26. This year, 360 participants from 40 regions of the Russian Federation were announced, of which 45% will come to the republic for the first time. “There were so many applicants that all the spots were reserved already in October. The Ufa exhibition is one of the three largest, along with Moscow and Krasnodar,” Albina Kildigulova, head of the Bashkir Exhibition Company, reminded at a press conference at the Bashinform agency. Last year, 20 thousand people visited the exhibition; this year at least 23 thousand visitors will come, she is sure.
The open area will be occupied by 50 companies that will present more than 180 units of equipment.
A large delegation from China will arrive - 50 people from two provinces. 30 representatives will work at the exhibition with stands, 20 as part of a business group intend to visit a number of Bashkir farms.
Also, a rich business program of 25 events has been prepared for all four days of the forum - round tables and sessions, tracks, a procurement conference, and a Youth Forum. The plenary session is entitled “New realities of the agro-industrial complex: transformation, digitalization, cooperation.”
At the Agroforum, we not only conclude deals and present equipment but also discuss the development strategy. An international track “Turn to the East” is planned”, the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture RB Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said.
He recalled that in 2023, agricultural enterprises shipped more than 700 thousand tons of products abroad to 44 countries. “We set ourselves a target of up to 2 million tons and up to $500 million,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
“Each market has its own specifics; each requires its own approach. China, Africa, India - We need to adapt to the buyer’s conditions, which can be complex and require hard logistics. All these counterparties are located in the other half of the globe.
