Head of Bashkortostan launched Radio-electronic Technology Park construction in Ufa

Tatyana Aksyutina

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, launched the construction of an electronics technology park, “Radio-electronic Technology Park RV-1.”

It will organize a full production cycle of high-tech and innovative products: unmanned aerial vehicles and their components, printed electronics, sensors, boards, and sensors. The project will invest 1.2 billion rubles, 504 million of which will be covered by a subsidy from the federal treasury.

A 30,000 sq. m. technology park in the electronics industry will appear on Rubezhnaya Street in the Kirovsky district of the city. Potential residents will be companies from Ufa, Minsk, and St. Petersburg; relevant agreements have already been concluded with them. By 2030, the republican authorities expect to create 370 jobs in the technology park, and the gross output of the radio-electronic industry will exceed 3.6 billion rubles.

The general director of the new technology park's management company, Rustem Davletov, said that the anchor residents are the Astracom Company, which specializes in producing communication systems, and the Center for Information and Communication Technologies of the Republic of Belarus.

“We all understand that unmanned aircraft are the future. Not necessarily military, but also civilian. The country is now developing a demand for civilian consumption of unmanned aerial vehicles. We already have fragments of its production in our republic. But we must move on to a serious scientific base and mass production of unmanned aerial vehicles. There will be a serial assembly of unmanned aerial vehicles. But this is just part of a big work, the horizon we have set until 2030. A cluster of unmanned aerial vehicles and radio electronics will be formed here. Today, we in the republic are opening a new page in industrial development. Already in September, there should be two production premises of five thousand square meters each,” noted Radiy Khabirov.

The issue of creating a research and production center for unmanned aerial systems in 2025 is also being considered. The center will carry out research and development work, train and educate specialized personnel, develop technologies for producing new types of equipment, and improve production technologies for existing UAV models.

The second stage involves creating a design center for printed microelectronics. This center is expected to become the basis for developing the newest branch of the electronics industry. The design center will provide the process of creating new products, from developing materials and the topology of components to producing a serial batch of products. Our pilot production line will allow the design center to become self-sufficient. The launch of the second stage is scheduled for 2028.
