Bashkir-Belarusian industrial cluster will appear in Alga SEZ in Bashkiria

First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of Bashkortostan Rustam Muratov spoke in detail about the program for protecting and encouraging investments at Investhour. He noted that since July 1, 2023, when simplified requirements for filing support applications began to take effect, the Republic has already considered 73 investment projects with a total investment volume of over 80 billion rubles. They concluded 68 agreements on the protection and promotion of investments.

Rustam Muratov presented the concept of creating a Bashkir-Belarusian industrial and investment cluster. This project will allow us to systematize work with Belarusian partners.

The Republic will support investors in the construction of premises for future factories, which will be built quickly to meet the individual requirements of cluster residents. In addition, they plan to develop rental housing for specialists on the preferential site.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that the territory where the joint ventures will operate is already part of the Alga Special Economic Zone. The “road map” for creating a new interstate cluster will be prepared by the end of March 2024.

The director of the Institute of Organizational Development and Strategic Initiatives of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of Russia, Vyacheslav Shoptenko, spoke at Invest Hour. He is also the project manager for the Global Management Challenge in Russia and the CIS, an international championship in business management.

Vyacheslav Shoptenko recalled that the final national stage of the Global Management Challenge championship will take place in Ufa in 2024 and thanked the Republic's leadership for the initiative to hold this business competition in Bashkortostan.
