1.7 million tons of products were shipped by railway in Bashkiria in February
The Ministry of Transport of the Republic reported that in January-February, about 3.6 million tons of industrial products were loaded at railway stations in Bashkiria—8.3% less than in the first two months of 2023.
In February, more than 1.7 million tons of various cargo were loaded in the republic - 5.5% less than a year ago.
Loading of oil and petroleum products decreased in February by 5.8% - a total of 924.5 thousand tons.
161.9 thousand tons of chemical products, including soda, were shipped (-2.5%).
The loading of chemical and mineral fertilizers increased 1.4 times (63.4 thousand tons).
In February, 40 thousand tons of grain were sent by rail (+12.4%).
Loading of timber products increased by 28% – 25.6 thousand tons.
Cement was sold 8% more - 25.4 thousand tons.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the republic's enterprises shipped 24.8 million tons of products by rail last year.
