Bashkiria sold 48 thousand tons of grain to domestic market

In January - February 2024, the Rosselkhoznadzor office for Bashkiria issued 948 quarantine certificates for more than 48 thousand tons of grain and its processed products prepared for shipment to other regions of Russia. The supervisory agency's press service reported this.

Bashkiria farmers sold their products to 13 regions of the country: Altai, Krasnodar, Perm regions, Leningrad, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Samara, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk regions, as well as Karelia, Tatarstan and Udmurtia. Most of all, Bashkir wheat and barley were supplied to the areas. In addition, agricultural enterprises in the region sold sunflower seeds for processing, oats, rapeseed, corn, peas, meal, and cereals on the Russian domestic market. An increase in the supply of grain and its processed products across the entire range of grain and leguminous products noted Rosselkhoznadzor.

As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, in January 2024, the Rosselkhoznadzor department for Bashkiria issued quarantine certificates for more than 20,000 tons of grain and processed products prepared for shipment to other regions of Russia.

In total, 355 consignments of grain and leguminous crops sold to Russian contractors in 13 regions were inspected. These include the Altai, Krasnodar, and Perm regions, as well as the Leningrad, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Samara, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, and Chelyabinsk regions, Karelia, Tatarstan, and Udmurtia.
