Belarusian pump manufacturer is interested in cooperation with Bashkiria

The Belarusian Pinsk Experimental Mechanical Plant, which produces industrial pumps and pumping equipment, expressed interest in supplying its products to the region and providing the plant with raw materials from Bashkiria. This became known during a visit to enterprises in the Brest region by the representative of Bashkiria at the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Belarus, Konstantin Klimin. The working trip took place as part of the implementation of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”.

Also, the representative of the region met with the first deputy mayor of Pinsk, Irina Maksimyuk, and the parties discussed the possibility of participation of Pinsk enterprises in the Bashkir House project as suppliers of furniture products, plumbing fixtures, and household items.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of Bashkortostan, at the end of 2023, Belarus ranks 4th in the foreign trade turnover of Bashkiria with a share of 6.3%. More than half of the republic's trade with Belarus consists of exports to Belarus. The productivity of cooperation between the two republics is primarily influenced by the presence of a representative of the region since he helps organize mutual visits of delegations, holds meetings with representatives of Belarusian companies, and regularly gives them presentations on the investment and industrial potential of Bashkortostan. Thus, in 2023, five visits and six receptions took place with the participation of representatives of Belarus.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, Bashkiria planned to supply industrial and petrochemical equipment to Belarus in 2024.
