2 billion rubles will be allocated from federal budget for Ufa Circus reconstruction

By order of the Government of the Russian Federation, changes have been made to the list of capital construction projects, the construction and reconstruction of which are provided for within the framework of the comprehensive state program “Construction”. Among them are objects from Bashkiria, particularly the building of the Ufa State Circus. The federal budget will allocate about 1.99 billion rubles for its reconstruction with restoration elements. Funds will begin to flow in 2026. The work should be completed in 2028. The total cost will be 2.04 billion rubles (another approximately 57 million rubles will be allocated by the enterprise itself).

Remember that the Ufa circus was closed in 2017: the building was declared unsafe. The main problem was that the building was federal property, which meant it could only be repaired with federal money. At its own expense, the republic made a reconstruction project and asked the Russian government to transfer the building to the region. As a result, Radiy Khabirov turned to Vladimir Putin for assistance. The head of state responded, "Circus art deserves the state to pay more attention than it has received. They need help."

In addition, the list of objects includes a water pipeline in the Kirovsky and Demsky districts of Ufa, for the construction of which 750 million rubles will be allocated from the budget in 2024, a wrestling center in Ufa (423 million rubles in 2024), the construction of data processing centers and others.

It is planned to allocate more than 1 trillion rubles from the federal budget for the construction and reconstruction of facilities throughout the country this year.
