Russia will develop new remuneration system for public sector employees

During his Address to the Federal Assembly, President Putin noted the need to improve wages in the public sector. He recalled that the level of average salaries across the country differs markedly. This is unacceptable because the work of a teacher, for example, is equally important in every region.

In 2025, the government will pilot a new remuneration model for public sector employees. In 2026, it will operate throughout the country.
