The Rosselkhoznadzor Office for Bashkiria inspected 62 railway cars with animal feed for export to China. The total weight of granulated beet pulp prepared by the largest sugar factory in the republic was 1,563 tons.
Samples of by-products from sugar beet processing underwent laboratory examination. Based on the results of entomological and herbological examinations, no harmful and dangerous quarantine organisms were identified in feed additives for farm animals.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, since the beginning of 2024, sugar and oil extraction enterprises in Bashkiria have exported more than 33.3 thousand tons of plant-based feed to China and Latvia. This is almost 4.2 thousand tons more than a year ago.
Let us remind you that within the framework of the national goal of “Decent and effective work and successful entrepreneurship,” the national project “International Cooperation and Export” is being implemented. Its goal is to ensure real growth in exports of non-commodity and non-energy goods by at least 70 percent by 2030 compared to 2020.
