The chief federal inspector for Bashkiria, Alexei Kasyanov, held a meeting with the participation of heads of federal and regional government structures, control and supervisory authorities, and the security bloc. The participants reviewed the results of implementing national projects in Bashkiria in 2023 and social support issues for military personnel.
Last year, more than 42 billion rubles were spent on 12 strategic areas of development in the republic, 26 billion of which were federal funds. They aim to renovate schools, build and repair medical institutions and kindergartens, relocate emergency housing, and improve public spaces.
Alexey Kasyanov noted that the republic has achieved all the leading indicators of strategic development set by the President of Russia. An important task is to maintain the momentum and positive dynamics subsequently.
Next, the meeting participants considered measures of social support for military personnel and members of their families. There are 39 such measures, which are constantly expanding and strengthening. In particular, children of SVO participants attend kindergartens and clubs for free and have the right to priority enrollment in educational institutions and a place in an extended group. Almost 5 thousand schoolchildren from grades 5 to 11 and nearly 900 college students were provided with hot meals at the state's expense, 5,800 children were provided with travel tickets, and more than 850 children were treated in sanatoriums in the region. According to the State Fund “Defenders of the Fatherland” in Bashkiria, more than 14 thousand people turned to them last year, 23 thousand appeals were accepted, and 21 have already been resolved.
