Bashkiria exported 33 thousand tons of valuable feed additives to China

Since the beginning of 2024, sugar and oil extraction enterprises in Bashkiria have exported more than 33.3 thousand tons of plant-based feed to China and Latvia. In total, 650 railway cars with valuable feed additives were shipped, the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor regional department reported.

“This is almost 4.2 thousand tons more than a year ago,” the supervisory agency added.

Thus, sugar factories in Bashkiria exported 276 batches of granulated beet pulp to China. The total weight of by-products from sugar beet processing was about 7 thousand tons. An oil extraction company from Kumertau shipped 356 shipments of sunflower meal weighing about 25.9 thousand tons to Europe.

Before shipment to foreign contractors, animal feed underwent laboratory tests in the Bashkir testing laboratory, subordinate to Rosselkhoznadzor. The products fully comply with the phytosanitary requirements of importing countries. Export veterinary certificates were issued for all batches of valuable feed additives.

At the moment, Bashkiria exports its agricultural products to 44 countries worldwide. 59% of shipments are from oil and fat industry products - vegetable oil, meal, and cake.
