Bashkiria doubles flour exports
Since the beginning of 2024, flour mills in Bashkiria have more than doubled flour exports, reported the regional department of Rosselkhoznadzor.
Since the beginning of this year, the supervisory agency has inspected 602 tons of wheat and rye flour exported from Bashkiria to Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. For comparison, a year ago, the republic exported 266.5 tons of flour to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan.
Flour samples passed all the necessary tests. Based on the results of laboratory examinations, no dangerous quarantine organisms were identified. Bashkir flour meets the requirements of importing countries. Based on the research results, the territorial Office of Rosselkhoznadzor issued 12 phytosanitary certificates.
At the moment, Bashkiria exports its agricultural products to 44 countries worldwide. 59% of shipments are from oil and fat industry products - vegetable oil, meal, and cake.
