100 million rubles will be allocated to support food industry enterprises in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, it has been possible to modernize more than 100 production facilities over the past two years thanks to implementing the food industry development program. This is mainly technological equipment, refrigeration chambers, specialized vehicles, and labeling equipment, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.

The food industry development program has been in effect for two years. The regional budget funds subsidize 40% of the costs to update equipment and machinery in the food industry, but not more than 5 million rubles per enterprise per year. Enterprises included in the list of priority projects from 2023 can count on a maximum of 15 million rubles.

In 2022-2023, 150 million rubles were allocated to update processing facilities. In total, more than 350 units of machinery and equipment were purchased for 405 million rubles. Given manufacturers' relevance and demand, this support area will continue in 2024. The budget allocates 100 million rubles for these purposes.

In 2023, the total funds allocated to support Bashkiria's agro-industrial complex from federal and regional budgets amounted to 7 billion rubles.
