Bashkiria attracted 80 billion rubles of federal funds in 2023

Based on the results of 11 months of 2023, Bashkortostan ranks 7th among Russian subjects in terms of gratuitous revenues to the regional budget and 1st in the Volga Federal District. Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov announced this at a government meeting.

“The amount of federal budget funds received exceeded 80 billion rubles. More than 90 billion rubles were added directly to enterprises and institutions, bypassing the republican budget system. I want to note that the federal center allocated almost 26 billion rubles to implement national projects in Bashkortostan. This is about 15% of total revenues,” the Prime Minister informed.

“Bashkortostan has built an effective system for attracting and disbursing federal funding and supporting budget requests. It is relevant to prepare documents for promising and important objects to use federal support instruments when announcing a competitive selection fully,” noted First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development of the Republic Rustam Muratov.

Andrey Nazarov instructed the republican departments to intensify the activities of working groups to attract funds from the federal budget, in addition to ensuring the processing of budget requests planned for submission, as well as those under consideration in the federal center.
