An additional 1 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget to subsidize the preferential lending program in the tourism sector. The Prime Minister signed the corresponding order. These funds are intended to provide loans on preferential terms to investors building or developing large ski resorts designed for at least 500 thousand visitors annually. This indicator must be achieved two years after the facility is operated.
The government launched the program to provide preferential loans in the tourism sector in 2021 and initially applied it to constructing and reconstructing hotels and multifunctional complexes. In 2023, the program included the construction of amusement parks, water parks, and infrastructure for ski resorts.
It is possible to obtain a syndicated loan and allocate a subsidy from the budget for partial repayment of such a loan. This will reduce and distribute the load between authorized banks.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the republic is preparing an investment project to develop the Mratkino ski resort in the Beloretsky district, the estimated cost of which has reached 8 billion rubles.
