Sugar beet processing is being completed in Bashkiria
Bashkir sugar factories are completing the processing of raw materials. According to the Ministry of Agriculture RB, by February 14, the Chishminsky sugar plant processed 708 thousand tons of root crops, Raevsakhar - 718 thousand tons. In total, the enterprises have harvested more than 1.5 tons of sugar beets and have already processed 1.43 million tons. Total sugar production ultimately exceeded 213 thousand tons, which is 10 thousand tons higher than last year.
The gross harvest of root crops in the republic exceeded 1.6 million tons. In the past agricultural season, the industrial crop was cultivated in 19 districts of the region. The area with sugar beets amounted to 47.5 thousand hectares.
