At the end of 2023, trade turnover between Turkey and Bashkiria more than doubled (111.7%) compared to 2022. According to the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations RB, interaction with Turkey in this indicator is in 2nd place with a share of 13.7%.
91% of the turnover was exported from Bashkiria. In January-September 2023, fuel and energy goods were mainly exported to Turkey - 65.76%, chemical products took a share of 21.6%, and food raw materials and products - 5.8%.
In the future, the range of exports is planned to expand. Priority areas are pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, information technology, agriculture, mechanical engineering and tourism.
The work is organized within the framework of the national project “International Cooperation and Export,” which aims to ensure real growth in the export of non-raw materials and non-energy goods by at least 70% by 2030 compared to 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations noted.
