Average salary is calculated in Bashkiria
The average monthly nominal accrued salary in Bashkiria for 11 months of 2023 reached 55,169 rubles. This is 14.9 percent more than in January-November 2022. At the same time, real wages increased by 10.4 percent, the republic’s statisticians reported.
At the same time, in November 2023, the average salary in the region exceeded 57,408 rubles. This is 9.9 percent more than in November 2022.
As previously reported by Bashinform, the average monthly nominal accrued salary for a period are determined based on the accrued wage fund divided by the average number of employees and the number of months in the period.
The accrued salary includes taxes and deductions from the employee. Social benefits received by employees from state and non-state extra-budgetary funds are not included in the wage fund and average monthly salary.
The real wage index is calculated to characterize changes in the purchasing power of wages in connection with changes in prices for consumer goods and services. It is calculated by dividing the nominal wage index by the consumer price index.
