

The revenues of Bashkiria's consolidated budget in 2023 exceeded 338.781 billion rubles - 2.8% higher than those in 2022.
Most of the income came from tax and non-tax revenues - 257.15 billion rubles.
Gratuitous receipts (mainly transfers from the federal budget) amounted to about 81.63 billion rubles - formally 17.2% less since payments for children are now made through the Social Fund of the Russian Federation.
355.5 billion rubles financed expenditures of the consolidated budget.
252.32 billion rubles of expenses (71%) fall on the social component - salaries of public sector employees, pensions, benefits, and other state obligations.
The republican budget was fulfilled in terms of income by 283.38 billion rubles and expenses by 300.65 billion rubles. Revenues increased by 1%, and expenses by 1.8% compared to 2022.
Tax and non-tax revenues of municipalities increased by 12.2% and amounted to 159.7 billion rubles, and expenses increased by 5.9% to 159.17 billion rubles - a deficit-free result.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, in 2024, salaries for employees of government institutions are expected to increase.
