Ufa region development discussed in government

In Bashkiria, the socio-economic development of the Ufa region was discussed at the government level. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov summarized the results of the retreat on his social networks:

“Today, we are working in the Ufa region. This dynamically developing municipal formation consists of 19 rural settlements and 88 settlements.

After a detailed analysis of all the data, he ordered a working group to formulate a Roadmap for the region's development. We adjusted guidelines in all directions. Thus, by 2030, the volume of industrial production should be at least 60 billion rubles (an increase of 30%), and the volume of gross agricultural output should be 16 billion rubles. It is also necessary to introduce at least 500 thousand square meters of housing annually, achieve a twofold increase in investment and reach 20 billion rubles, and ensure a one-and-a-half times wage increase.

Thus, over the next six years, the budget of the Ufa region should increase by at least 60%. All figures are actual and achievable with the municipal management team's coordinated and effective work.

The area is part of the Ufa agglomeration, which gives a specific impetus for development and opens up good prospects. The proximity to the capital contributes to stable migration growth of the population. Over the past 5 years, the number has increased by 23 thousand people or 26%, and about 120 thousand people live in the region.

In recent years, active housing construction has been underway, and further growth in construction volumes is expected for 2024–2030. Modern townhouses, individual houses, and entire districts of high-rise buildings are being built. The Ufa region is the leader in the identified “Land for Construction” project sites. In the area, 219 plots with a total area of 67 hectares are recorded, suitable for housing construction. But here it is important not just to build square meters, but to provide the territory with utilities, road infrastructure, and social facilities,” said the head of the republican Cabinet.
