Starting January 29, the Central Bank issues a commemorative coin, “Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra,” of the “Russian Federation” series.
The coin's denomination is 10 rubles, and it is made of base metals combined with a disk and an outer ring. The diameter of the circle is 2.7 cm. The circulation is 1 million pieces.
This is the only release in the series this year.
In the same series, a coin dedicated to the Republic of Bashkortostan was issued in April 2007 (the 450th anniversary of Bashkiria's entry into Russia).
As Bashinform News Agency reported, in 2024, it is planned to issue a silver coin for the 450th anniversary of Ufa. In 2025, coins made of base metals but with minimal circulation were dedicated to Ufa as a city of labor valor.
