Bashkortostan enterprise will open medical furniture production in Kazakhstan

The Bashkortostan enterprise Medstalkonstruktsiya and partners from Kazakhstan will launch the production of specialized medical furniture, operating tables, and medical beds. The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic Rustam Muratov spoke about this at a meeting of the working group on the development of cooperation between Bashkortostan and Kazakhstan in Astana as part of a business mission of the official delegation of our republic.

As part of his speech at a working group meeting on cooperation development, the head of the ministry presented the results of trade and economic cooperation between the two republics. He said that Bashkortostan and Kazakhstan are strategic partners. The trade turnover between them over the 11 months of 2023 increased by 3.1%, while the share of Bashkortostan exports amounted to 83%.

“For individual product groups, the growth exceeded several times. For example, reactors, boilers, and energy equipment supplies increased by 2.8 times, products from natural, artificial stone, and mineral raw materials increased by 2.4 times, and sugar and confectionery products increased by 2.5 times. It is necessary to continue to increase volumes in all product areas,” noted Rustam Muratov.

Let us recall that Medstalkonstruktsiya LLC, participating in the national project “Labor Productivity”, increased the production of the pilot flow by 3.2 times. With the support of experts from the Regional Competence Center, lean production tools were introduced at the screw bed production site in 2020 and then replicated in other sites.
