The national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry” will help create 46 more tourist facilities with 564 rooms in Bashkiria in 2024, the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic reported.
In the autumn-winter season of last year, 10 tourist sites were put into operation in Bashkiria. Thus, the first visitors were received by the Tyumenak holiday home in the Tuymazinsky district. Gamir Galimov received a subsidy from a competition to implement investment projects to create modular non-capital accommodation facilities in Bashkiria. Using the grant he received, he completed the construction of two modular houses in the form of a dome on the territory of the Tyumenak holiday home. They are suitable for year-round use.
The national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry” involves increasing the number of trips across Russia to 140 million per year by 2030, as well as ensuring economic growth in the country due to the diversity of the tourism industry. The national project will help make traveling around Russia convenient, safe, and enjoyable. National projects have been implemented by the decision of the President of the Russian Federation since 2019.
As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, Bashkiria was among the finalists of the Russian Travel Awards.
