Salaries in Bashkiria increased by 15.4%

In nominal terms, salaries in Bashkiria increased by 15.4% - to 54,943 rubles in January-October 2023, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Andrey Nazarov said on his Telegram channel, noting that “this is higher than average Russia."

The historical minimum unemployment rate was updated and amounted to 2.2% in September–November last year, which is also lower than the Russian average (in the Russian Federation - 3%).

“According to current data, the level of registered unemployment in January of this year is 0.6%,” stated the head of the Cabinet.

Meanwhile, with retail trade turnover growing by 10.7%, the inflation rate in the republic is more restrained than in the country - 106.9%. Andrey Nazarov noted in Russia - 107.4%, Volga Federal District - 107.2%.

Frosts in the spring and drought in the summer, although they provoked a decrease in the rate of agricultural production, did not prevent Bashkiria from steadily achieving more than 100 percent self-sufficiency in the main types of farm products.

“Today, we completely cover our needs for dairy products (self-sufficiency - 120.9%), beef (110.1%), pork (129.7%), eggs (106.7%), sugar (6.7 times), vegetable oil (6 times), potatoes (155.1%), fresh cucumbers (121.3%) and tomatoes (162.2%),” the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan emphasized.
