Beekeepers International Congress is taking place in Bashkiria

In the lean year of 2023, Bashkortostan produced about 6 thousand tons of commercial honey, and the figure was more than 7 thousand tons in 2022, noted Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Ilshat Fazrakhmanov in his welcoming speech to the participants of the International Congress of Industrial Beekeepers. The event occurs on January 18-20 at the Ufa Congress Hall Toratau.

Chairman of the all-Russian public organization for promoting the development of industrial beekeeping, “Industrial Beekeepers of Russia” Dmitry Nikolaev, emphasized that the level of organization of the congress in Bashkortostan no longer knows equals, and it will become an excellent example for future events.

The Congress program, which brought together about 500 delegates from various regions of Russia and other countries, is rich. At the plenary session, they talked about legislation in the field of beekeeping, the promotion of honey brands, and the intricacies of importing the product to China. Industrial beekeepers from Siberia, Altai, Kazakhstan, and the USA shared their work experience. Tomorrow, speeches are expected from specialists in the field of beekeeping and experts on promoting honey on social media and the use of bees and honey in the tourism business.
