

The agro-industrial complex of Bashkiria more than doubled the export of grain and its processed products in 2023. The volume of supplies to countries near and far abroad increased by almost 130% to 471.78 thousand tons. In 2022, Bashkir agricultural companies sent 205.6 thousand tons of grain and grain products abroad.
At the same time, the geography of supplies has expanded. Last year, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and others were added to the traditional buyers of Bashkir grain - Azerbaijan, Belgium, the Republic of Belarus, Germany, Georgia, Denmark, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
More than 121.21 thousand tons of wheat, 79.42 thousand tons of barley, 51.6 thousand tons of flax, 6.84 thousand tons of peas, 8.7 thousand tons of rye, 0.95 thousand tons of sunflower, 0. 59 thousand tons of mustard, 0.98 thousand tons of oats, 1.9 thousand tons of safflower.
The exported leguminous and fodder crops included chickpeas, buckwheat, camelina, milk thistle, vetch, and other plant species.
Also, last year, the region sold abroad more than 17 thousand tons of grain processing products: cereals, flour, and bran.
The other day, the “SN Agro” Company sold 2.3 thousand tons of food barley to China, the department informed.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, grain sales on the domestic market also more than doubled.
