Bashkiria and Uzbekistan increased mutual trade turnover
Mutual trade turnover between Bashkiria and Uzbekistan increased by 11.5% based on the results of 11 months of 2023. As the government of the republic reported, this happened due to an increase in exports of mineral products by 15%.
“Foreign turnover trade with Uzbekistan for January–November 2023 consists of 90% exports from Bashkortostan, 3.3% more than in 2022. The basis of exports from Bashkortostan to Uzbekistan are mineral products, the chemical industry and rubber, wood and pulp and paper products, metals and products made from them, and engineering products,” commented Margarita Bolycheva, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of the Republic.
She also noted that one of the delegates of the last business mission to a friendly country concluded a contract to supply liquefied gas storage tanks for 160 million rubles.
Previously, trade turnover between Bashkiria and Kazakhstan increased by 3.1%.
