About 13 billion rubles will be allocated to modernize Bashkiria's utility infrastructure in 2024. The money will be used to update the heating system in five republic districts and construct, reconstruct, and overhaul the water supply and sanitation networks in Ufa, Sterlitamak, Aurgazinsky, and Ishimbaysky districts. According to the program for modernizing municipal infrastructure at 17 sites, it will replace 103 km of utility networks: water supply - 90 km, sewerage - 11 km, and heat supply - 12 km. Housing and Communal Services Minister Irina Golovanova announced this at a meeting with Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov.
It was also announced at the meeting that the specific accident rate in the republic for 2023 was 0.306 hours per consumer, with the Russian average being 13.8 hours. According to this indicator, the republic is in 8th place among the constituent entities of Russia. Among the Volga Federal District regions, the republic is in 1st place.
As for the New Year holidays, in the period from January 1 to January 10, 59 emergency shutdowns occurred, which is 71% less than the same period last year.
“During the winter period of last year, municipal utilities worked as normal. Despite the difficult weather conditions, the situation is also quite stable. At the same time, the problem of accidents at housing and communal services facilities remains one of the most sensitive for our residents. The republic has about 17 thousand km of water supply networks, 4 thousand km of water disposal, and 4 thousand km of heat supply networks. The average wear and tear of communal infrastructure is 54%,” noted Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Andrey Nazarov.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the republic will triple the volume of roof repairs for apartment buildings this year.
