International trade targets approved in Bashkiria
The government of Bashkiria approved the state program “Development of Foreign Economic Relations, International and Interregional Cooperation of the Republic.”
Its goals set the following indicators:
— exports of non-commodity, non-energy goods should grow by 70% by 2030 from the 2020 level ($1.9 billion);
— the volume of foreign trade turnover should reach $8.8 billion by 2030;
— the volume of interregional turnover should grow to 324.9 billion rubles by 2030.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, exports of agricultural products grew most actively this year. In January–October 2023, foreign sales increased by 13.6% to $260.5 million.
