Labor market vacancies have significantly increased in Bashkiria

Analysts from an online recruiting platform conducted a study, revealing vital changes in the labor market in Bashkiria. The primary attention is to analyzing labor supply and demand and the dynamics of wages in the region over the past year.

According to the study, a significant increase in vacancies in the Republic of Bashkortostan was recorded - by 34% compared to January 2023. There is also a 13% increase in the number of resumes. At the end of the year, there was an average of 3.8 resumes per vacancy, which indicates a shortage of personnel observed during the second half of the year.

The study found that the largest increases in job vacancies were in the labor force, sales and customer service, manufacturing, construction, and transportation. The average salary in the region in December was 49,690 rubles, which is 13% higher than in January. Salary expectations among job seekers also increased – by 9%, reaching 54,585 rubles by the end of the year.

The largest wage increase was recorded in agriculture, art, mass media, extraction of raw materials, and among marketers. For example, in December, the average salary in agriculture and art was 122,250 rubles and 50,370 rubles, respectively, significantly higher than last year’s figures.
