“Tourism Industry Leaders 2023” regional award results summed up in Ufa

The names of the winners of the regional award “Leaders of the Tourism Industry 2023” were announced at the Toratau Congress Hall. The Center for Tourism Development of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan established the competition. Every year, regional tour operators, representatives of the hotel business, glamping, sanatoriums, and tour guides participate in the competition.

The Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of Bashkortostan Rustem Afzalov welcomed the participants. He noted that 2023 was a dynamic and fruitful year for the republic in developing the tourism industry.

The minister recalled that the project “Bashkir Longevity. Tourism,” initiated by the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, is actively developing and has boldly stepped beyond the region's borders and the country. The federal program “School Tourism” has a severe impetus to developing domestic tourism. Three-star hotels and new tourist routes are appearing in the republic, entrepreneurs are purchasing excursion buses, and infrastructure and regional preferential lending are being acquired. The BST TV channel “Bashkir Holidays” program, which talks about the republic's sights, significantly contributed to the common cause. In 2024, this project will receive new development.

Earlier, Radiy Khabirov named the key directions for tourism development in Bashkiria.
