Staffing needs in mechanical engineering industry are growing in Bashkiria

At a meeting of the coordinating committee for staffing of economic sectors, a forecast of the labor market needs for qualified specialists and workers in Bashkiria for the medium and long term was announced. The forecast was formed by the Ministry of Family and Labor of the Republic and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic to smooth out the imbalance between supply and demand in the labor market. The press service of the government of the Republic reported this.

This year, the forecast was developed based on survey data with the participation of almost 12 thousand employers with more than 500 thousand employees. According to the estimates, the need for personnel is expected to increase in the republic both in the medium and long term. Compared to last year, the need for specialists with higher education is projected to grow in the medium term. Thus, in mechanical engineering, mathematics, and technology, it is 2 times; in management of technical systems, it is 1.6 times. The high demand for personnel in mechanical engineering is explained by an increase in production volumes at enterprises of the military-industrial complex, where the number of vacancies this year has more than doubled.

In addition, the need for personnel in nanotechnology and nanomaterials is increasing in the long term.
