Ban on some goods and equipment export from country has been extended in Russia
The Russian government has extended the ban on exporting certain goods and equipment from the country until the end of 2025. This was reported on the Cabinet website on December 27.
The restriction applies to technological and medical equipment, agricultural machinery, electrical equipment, turbines, nuclear reactors, fiber-optic cables, certain aircraft types, radar instruments, batteries, and metal processing machines, the Cabinet of Ministers explained.
In this case, exports will be allowed to states that are members of the Eurasian Economic Union. Export restrictions will also not apply to samples of medical products previously imported into the Russian Federation for state registration, refrigeration equipment, certain types of pumps, and several categories of ships.
In addition, the department announced easing restrictions on exporting certain types of goods by systemically essential organizations and their subsidiaries.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that Russia had temporarily banned exporting scrap precious metals.
