Government discussed agricultural park construction progress

At a meeting of the government of Bashkiria, they discussed the progress of implementing one of the key investment projects, a breakthrough for developing the region’s economy. This is the Tavros Agropark agro-industrial park construction, which will appear near the village of Podymalovo, Ufa region. There are 7 projects of this level in Bashkiria, reports the press service of the government of the Republic.

The agricultural park project is essential because it is being implemented as part of the instructions of the Russian government to create wholesale food markets. This is a specialized site with production, logistics, and engineering infrastructure for residents in the processing, storing, and packaging of agricultural products. It will serve as an additional sales channel for small and medium-sized enterprises in the region. A plot of land has been selected for the agricultural park, and geological work has been carried out here. Marketing research has also been done, and a financial model and a business plan have been developed. In May 2023, the results of an audit of the project concept were received from world-class consulting companies. Project support agreements have been concluded with leading Russian developers.

The agricultural park project is included in the list of priority investment projects of the republic. A contract has been signed; negotiations are underway with designers and potential residents have been selected. Technical specifications for connecting gas, electricity, and water supply have been received. Considering the attracted residents, the estimated total investment in the project will be about 25 billion rubles, and up to 1.5 thousand new jobs will be created.
