Bashkiria will receive at least 4.2 billion rubles for road construction

In 2024, work will continue implementing the national project “Safe Quality Roads,” Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of Bashkiria Lyubov Minakova emphasized at a press conference.

“Next year, preliminary, it is planned to repair 78 objects with a total length of more than 132 km on roads of regional, inter-municipal, and local significance, as well as seven bridge structures with a total length of over 430 linear meters. It is planned to allocate about 4.2 billion rubles for these works. We hope this amount is not final and will be more. 2024 is not an easy year. We are working with the Federal Highway Agency. We have many plans to implement. Therefore, we will hope for a larger amount, but for now, it is 4.2 billion rubles,” said Lyubov Minakova.

As for 2023, thanks to Vladimir Putin’s national project, more than 209 km of roads have been repaired in Bashkiria. This is 15 percent more than in 2022. Over 10.5 billion rubles were allocated for this work. Of these, 6.5 billion rubles come from the federal budget.

In addition, this year, seven bridges with a total length of 851 meters were repaired in the republic across the rivers Usen, Belaya, Sim, Kamaelga, Uzen, Sukhodol, Irtyubyak in the Belebeevsky, Gafuriysky, Iglinsky, Beloretsky, Karmaskalinsky, Karaidelsky and Kugarchinsky districts. For comparison, this is almost twice as much as in 2022. Next year, thanks to the national project “Safe Quality Roads” in Bashkiria, 10 bridges and overpasses will be repaired. Their total length will be 566 linear meters, Bashinform News Agency previously reported.

As emphasized today at a press conference at the Ministry of Transport of Bashkiria, special attention is paid to repairing roads of regional and inter-municipal importance that are part of the supporting road network. Thus, in 2023 alone, improving more than 81.3 kilometers of such roads was possible.

Let us recall that the national project “Safe Quality Roads” was developed by the Russian Ministry of Transport to implement the provisions of the presidential decree “On the national goals and strategic objectives of the development of the Russian Federation for the period until 2030.” The scale of the national project covers almost the entire country. 84 constituent entities of Russia participate in it.
