Alga largest resident began training specialists at Salavat College

“Salavat Industrial College,” with the support of “FARUS-Sintez,” became the winner of the federal competition “Professionalism” and will receive a total of 184.5 million rubles; the partner of the educational institution will allocate another five million rubles. The college will spend the money won on equipping classrooms and laboratories with all the necessary equipment to train future personnel working at the FARUS-Sintez plant. The theoretical foundations essential for work will be included in the primary professional educational program, and for practical training, an interactive laboratory with training simulators will be launched at the college, where future workers will practice technological process skills.

FARUS-Sintez LLC is the most prominent resident of the Alga Special Economic Zone. The company will launch a plant for synthetic higher fatty alcohols by 2026. The volume of investments exceeds 21 billion rubles. As project investor Linar Fattakhov told Radiy Khabirov, the plant will produce more than 80% of the products required by the Russian market after reaching production capacity. The raw materials will be ethylene, hydrogen, and nitrogen obtained from Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat.

Higher fatty alcohols are one of the most essential product chains in the chemical industry. Without them, it is impossible to produce shower gels, shampoos, soaps, creams, cosmetics, paint products, medicines - everything that ensures a comfortable life for the population. They are also widely used in agriculture, oil exploration, lubricant production, and many more.
