Ufa population increased by 6 thousand people last year

Today, 1 million 181 thousand people live in the capital of Bashkiria. About a year ago, there were 1 million 175 thousand. Ufa is in the Top 10 among Russian cities. As the head of the administration of the republic's capital, Ratmir Mavliev, said at a meeting between Radiy Khabirov and activists of Ufa, the city is also in the Top 10 in terms of birth rate per 1000 people.

“The volume of budget revenues and expenses for the coming year will be 45.5 billion rubles. The dynamics over the past 5 years have recorded constant growth. In 2019, the budget was only 24.8 billion rubles. The volume of shipped goods of own production, work, and services in all types of economic activity in January-October amounted to 1 trillion 269 billion rubles. This is 103.5% compared to the same period last year. The volume of industrial production amounted to 940 billion rubles. Ufa accounts for over half of the entire republican industry in shipment volume.

According to this key indicator for the economy, for 9 months this year, Ufa ranks 1st among the million-plus cities in Russia, not counting Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Regarding the balanced financial results of cities with a population of over a million, we are in 4th place.

Investments are also growing. For January-September this year, their volume amounted to 112.2 billion rubles, 130% growth! According to this indicator, Ufa is in the Top 10 among million-plus cities,” said Ratmir Mavliev.
