This year, not a single state-owned enterprise has gone bankrupt, Natalya Polyanskaya, Minister of Land and Property Management of Bashkiria, said during a briefing.
“We proceed from the fact that if an enterprise can be saved, it should be saved and not sold,” said the head of the Ministry of Land and Property Management of the Republic. For example, the minister cited the history of the Yanaulsky greenhouse plant. Due to large debts and the problem of outdated greenhouses, the question of bankruptcy arose. The company was put up for auction, but selling it at an acceptable price was impossible. We are glad that the government supported us, and we did not sell the enterprise at a price lower than the public offer but tried to save the enterprise,” noted Natalya Polyanskaya.
According to the department, the republic now owns 67 enterprises. The government has approved the forecast privatization plan for 2024-2026.
