China buys flax from Bashkiria
Farmers from the Abzelilovsky district of Bashkiria have shipped a trainload of oilseed flax to China, the Rosselkhoznadzor department for the Republic reported.
The total volume of 62 railway cars with crops amounted to 1615 tons. Rosselkhoznadzor specialists inspected each railway carriage with regulated products before shipment to the PRC.
“Samples of oilseeds selected in each batch underwent laboratory examination at the Bashkir testing laboratory. Based on the results of entomological, herbological, and mycological examinations, the products fully comply with the requirements of the People’s Republic of China,” emphasized the Rosselkhoznadzor department for the Republic.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that since the beginning of 2023, flour mills in Bashkiria have increased the supply of their products for export by almost 300 percent.
