Bashkiria continues to demonstrate high labor productivity, once again becoming one of the leaders in the ranking of the national project “Labor Productivity” for 2022, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic reported.
The rating was developed by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and the Federal Competence Center and covers 68 regions actively involved in the national project with support in the form of a federal subsidy.
The ranking considers how widely the region's best productivity practices are replicated. In addition, the quality of implementation of targeted support projects for enterprises, executive and cash discipline of regional teams, and direct growth in labor productivity at enterprises are assessed.
The goal of the national project “Labor Productivity” is the formation of a modern production culture. Experts help project participants use internal resources more efficiently, ensure full equipment utilization, and optimize the logistics of moving products and materials. This allows enterprises to increase their competitiveness and operational efficiency.
“The regional leadership understands that every enterprise that has increased its productivity provides an additional incentive for developing the local economy. Approximately half of the projects to improve labor productivity are implemented by regional competence centers, and their effectiveness is growing. Competition in the leadership group has also increased. This indicates the high-quality implementation of the national project on the ground,” said Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Murat Kerefov.
The national project “Labor Productivity” was approved following the May decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2018. Enterprises from the region in the primary non-resource industry, including trade, with annual revenue of at least 400 million rubles, can participate.
