Special investment contracts concluding procedure has been approved in Bashkiria

The Government of Bashkiria has approved the procedure for concluding special investment contracts by the republic. The corresponding document was published on the official Internet portal of the Republic's legal information.

The procedure determines the mechanism for concluding special investment contracts by Bashkiria without the participation of the Russian Federation.

A special investment contract is concluded and also amended and terminated on behalf of the region by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic with a legal entity or individual entrepreneur, “which assumes obligations within the period stipulated by the special investment contract on its own or with the involvement of other persons to implement an investment project to create or modernize and (or) develop production of industrial products" on the territory of Bashkiria.

As noted in the government decree, a special investment contract is concluded to solve problems and achieve the indicators of strategic planning documents developed at the regional level.
