Radiy Khabirov named main Bashkiria attractions where you need to visit

The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, opening the Days of the Republic of Bashkortostan at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia,” told the guests why it is essential to visit the republic.

“Bashkortostan is a wonderful place to relax. 12 thousand lakes and rivers, the ski slopes. Our three ski resorts – Mratkino, Bannoe, and Abzakovo – are among the best and longest operating ski slopes,” said Radiy Khabirov.

Among the main attractions, he noted the Shulgan-Tash cave, where rock paintings that are more than 17 thousand years old were preserved, an excellent museum was built nearby, and a center for developing science was created in the south of our republic.

The head of the republic also noted our Yangan-Tau geopark, which was the first in the former Soviet Union to enter the global network of UNESCO geoparks, as well as the Toratau geopark.

As we told earlier, the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan was held in Moscow at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”. Guests were presented with a rich cultural, educational, and entertainment program; the events covered several locations of the Moscow VDNKh.
