The State Assembly of Bashkiria has prepared a draft republican budget for 2024 and the planning period of 2025 and 2026 for consideration in the final reading. The law is scheduled to be adopted at a plenary session of parliament on December 14.
According to Chairman of the State Assembly Konstantin Tolkachev, for the second reading, the budget bill was adjusted with an increase of 1.9 billion rubles in both revenue and expenditure parts. The revenue plans consider changes in the projected dynamics of revenues for certain types of taxes. In particular, excise tax revenues are expected to increase by 1.5 billion rubles in 2024 and personal income tax revenues by 2 billion rubles. Data on gratuitous receipts from the federal budget have been adjusted, the total volume of which is estimated at 71 billion rubles, 400 million higher than previously predicted. Subsidies for housing development programs, road repairs, and school modernization have been increased. New types of grants are also provided, including to support priority areas of the agro-industrial complex, create a care system for elderly citizens and people with disabilities, develop charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, and constructing and reconstruct public sports facilities.
Thus, after all the clarifications, Bashkiria’s budget revenues 2024 are projected at 290.9 billion rubles, expenses – 300.9 billion rubles. The deficit remained unchanged - 10 billion rubles. Sources of coverage entirely covered it.
