First coordination meeting with regional economic ministers is taking place in Ufa

It has not been easy for regional ministries over the past four years. They integrated first anti-Covid and then anti-sanctions programs and were responsible for implementing state programs, federal and provincial measures, interaction with businesses, and feedback. Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said this at a coordination meeting with the ministers of economic development of the country's regions, which is taking place in Ufa. The federal minister noted that the president has set a goal to ensure long-term economic growth. And, of course, it will largely depend on the work of the regions.

The economics of proposals in the context of industry priorities looks like this: first - industries focused on the consumer market - the automobile industry, light industry, production of household goods, agro-industrial complex, tourism, and housing.

The second is investment goods. Transport engineering, aircraft, aircraft and shipbuilding, production of railway, construction, and agricultural machinery.

Third, technologies and equipment necessary to increase production: IT, microelectronics, and machine tool building.

Fourth – transport and logistics for the development of internal and external relations. Including for export.

“The development of these industries requires a long-term perspective. Therefore, the government is now actively developing long-term industry strategies. This will also be reflected in the new structure of national projects,” the federal minister said.
