Russian IT market has seriously changed and stabilized - experts from IBW-2023

The strategic session “Growth and scaling of Russian IT solutions in the international market” at International Business Week 2023 in Ufa presented an assessment of the Russian IT market and directions for further development.

Director of the Ufa branch of the Fort Dialog Company, a member of the Association for the Development of Information Technologies of the Republic, Vilnar Khabibov, noted that the Russian IT market has seriously changed and stabilized over the past three years. Russian IT specialists are already considering international niches as potential for development.

Deputy Editor-in-chief of IT Channel News Svetlana Belova stated that our industry has achieved incredible growth figures not only in software.

In her opinion, it is necessary to enter the international market to grow further. And not only to earn money but to gain experience.

According to the organizing committee of the MNS-2023, according to Russoft research, the most active consumers of Russian products are Asia and Africa. IT companies shared their experience of entering foreign markets.

General Director of MSK Mobile LLC Taras Menyaykin said he represents an international company with Russian roots - one of the market leaders in remote personal identification. The company is accredited by the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, helps implement government programs, and is already present in two African countries. He noted that they could declare themselves with the support of the Bashkortostan Innovation Promotion Foundation at the Digital Africa exhibition. It was there that they met interested Moroccan companies.

Viktor Erivantsev, CEO, founder, and technical director of VR Finch Technologies, said that the team's core is made up of graduates of the Ufa Aviation University. They started with the international market and are now actively developing the Russian market.

The company first made its presence known by unveiling a prototype of its device at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in 2017. After this, it actively develops in the international market.

Let us remind you that International Business Week 2023 started in Ufa on November 22, and about 4 thousand people announced their participation. Bashinform News Agency reported about this.

On the sidelines of the forum, more than 50 business events will be held, at which more than 400 speakers at the federal and international levels will speak. Representatives of 21 friendly countries are participating, including China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Turkey, and Iran. International Business Week 2023 will be held until December 1 inclusive.

This forum is the 16th in a row. It has become a platform for dialogue between government and business, recognized by experts, where current issues are discussed and development directions are formed.
