Region's budget for 2024 adopted by parliamentarians in first reading

The revenue side of Bashkortostan's budget for 2024 is projected at 289 billion rubles, in 2025 - 285.8 billion, and in 2026 - 288.2 billion rubles.

As for expenses, next year, according to the plan, they will amount to 299 billion rubles, and in 2025 and 2026, they will equal income.

The main indicators of the republic's budget today at the plenary meeting of the State Assembly were announced by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance of Bashkortostan Lira Igtisamova.

The primary sources of tax and non-tax revenues in 2024: corporate income tax – 87.8 billion rubles, which will be 40.2% of the total; personal income tax of 59.3 billion rubles (27.2% of the total); excise taxes on petroleum products, strong alcohol, and beer are projected to amount to 31.6 billion rubles (14.5% of the total); property taxes - 16.5 billion rubles.

Of the total revenue, gratuitous receipts in 2024 are projected to amount to 70.7 billion rubles. According to the Minister of Finance, this volume will be clarified by the second law reading on the country's main financial document.

“Expenditure priorities are given to the social component and the implementation of national projects. Our republic takes part in 13 national projects and implements 48 regional ones. It is planned to allocate 60.5 billion rubles to implementing national projects related to human capital, a comfortable environment, and economic growth over the next three years,” noted the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government.

In 2024, it is planned to allocate 78.2 billion rubles for education, and healthcare costs will amount to 54.2 billion rubles, 43.1 billion rubles will be issued to implement social policy, 10.6 billion will be allocated for culture, and 5.2 billion for physical culture. In 2024, the road fund will receive funds for 29.9 billion rubles, the housing and communal services system will receive 26.1 billion rubles, and agriculture will receive 7.9 billion rubles. 32.8 billion rubles will be allocated to implement the republican targeted investment program.

The volume of the wage fund for public sector workers in 2024 will be 131 billion rubles.

The republic's draft budget for 2024 was formed with a deficit of 10 billion rubles; in 2025 and 2026, deficit-free characteristics of the republican treasury are planned.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the State Assembly of Bashkiria reviewed the regional development forecast for 2024 and the planning period 2025-2026.
