Radiy Khabirov and Kanat Sharlapaev met with enterprise’s directors in Bashkiria

On November 23 in Ufa, as part of the International Business Week 2023, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, and the Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan, Kanat Sharlapaev, met with the heads of enterprises of the republic.

The head of the republic noted that, despite the difficult conditions, Bashkortostan's budget for 2024 retains all measures to support industry and business and is financially secure.

The Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan emphasized that Bashkortostan is a culturally close region for their country. Kanat Sharlapaev spoke about government support measures that the Kazakh side offers investors. Among them are preferences for special economic zones and models of special investment contracts.

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Belarus Rustam Muratov, in turn, noted that the republic also attaches great importance to industrial cooperation.

According to the deputy director of the Ufa enterprise Medstalkostruktsiya, Dmitry Ilash, their company has been successfully cooperating with Kazakhstan for more than 10 years, and it was not by chance that they chose the country to build a production facility for medical furniture and equipment.

Fyodor Domotenko, general director of the joint Bashkir-Belarusian plant Amkodor-Agidel, expressed his interest in cooperation with the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan. According to him, complexes for grain drying equipment, mobile dryers, and other products should interest farmers in Kazakhstan. At the same time, the plant already has its developments.

The General Director of the Neftekamsk plant, Liana Kirshina, spoke about the prospects for supplies of Iskozh JSC products to enterprises producing cars in Kazakhstan. According to her, the share of deliveries of their products to our neighbors is negligible. At the same time, textile and upholstery materials, molding film, and artificial leather transform the interiors of cars and buses of many famous auto giants.

The Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan noted that two more large automobile plants are currently being built in the country and instructed representatives of the Association of Automobile Manufacturers to establish contact and find possible points of cooperation with Neftekamsk Iskozh.

In turn, Radiy Khabirov emphasized that the Bashkir enterprise is one of the few factories in this industry in the territory of the former Soviet Union that managed to maintain all the competence and constantly modernize its production.

Director of the Ural Forest Company Nogman Tasmukhanov said they successfully cooperate with Kazakh partners and plan to increase trade turnover with them by 20 percent in the next three years.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of Bashkortostan once again thanked the delegation of Kazakhstan for their active participation in the events of the International Business Week.
