Radiy Khabirov told what Bashkiria will be like in 2030

“Our forum becomes more interesting and meaningful every year. And we see that interest in Bashkortostan is increasing every time,” said the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, at the International Business Week 2023 plenary meeting.

This forum is the sixteenth in a row. It has become a platform for dialogue between government and business, recognized by experts, where current issues are discussed and development directions are formed. The central theme this year is transforming the economy towards the future. The professional community is invited to make a forecast for the day after tomorrow.

Radiy Khabirov welcomed the delegations of Kazakhstan and Belarus, with the regions of which the republic has strong business and cultural ties, and many joint projects have been developed. The largest foreign economic partner is the People's Republic of China, which accounts for a quarter of all Bashkir trade. The participation of the Chinese delegation in the IBW-2023 allows us to build economic bridges more actively.

“If you just dream about what will happen the day after tomorrow, nothing will happen. Our colleagues and I are now working on what Bashkortostan will be like in 2030, and we are making plans for the next five years, taking into account the turbulent state the whole world is in. We are already entering the final stage of forming the 3.0 program, where we will describe approximate indicators of the goals we want to achieve in the economy, society, and other spheres. It largely depends on all of us what tomorrow and the day after tomorrow will be like,” said Radiy Khabirov.

The well-being of people, the comfort of their lives, and the well-being of our families are one of the main postulates of the work of the management team of Bashkortostan, the Head of the Republic emphasized.
