Current issues of road infrastructure development in Ufa and the participation of the Bashkortostan delegation in the “Transport Week” in Moscow were discussed during a briefing on the BST TV channel.
As Alan Marzaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan, noted, one of the most large-scale infrastructure projects in the republic is the construction of the “Eastern Exit”. As of November, its readiness is more than 78%. More than two thousand people and 200 special machinery and equipment units were involved in the facility's construction. All work is nearing completion.
“I can confidently say that we are heard at the federal level. The delegation of the republic led by Radiy Khabirov held some important meetings. In particular, we discussed timely financing of work on large projects,” noted Alan Marzaev.
The head of the department for construction, repair of roads, and artificial structures of the Ufa administration, Konstantin Pappe, spoke about important objects for the republic's capital.
In particular, he noted the importance of building a bridge across the Belaya River at the Internatsionalnaya Street alignment in Ufa. This is a capital-intensive but urgently needed facility for the city.
For the 450th anniversary of Ufa in 2022, implementing the large-scale project “Southern Gate” has begun using infrastructure budget loans.
Major repairs of the arched bridge across the Belaya River are ongoing. The bridge arch, a symbol of the republic's capital, will be preserved.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that about 1,400 kilometers of roads in Bashkiria will be returned to standard this year.
