Cement manufacturer from China plans to localize production in Bashkiria

A Chinese cement manufacturer is interested in locating its production in Bashkiria. A potential investor from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China examined the proposed option in the Alga SEZ, whose residents are guaranteed some tax, rental, and customs benefits.

As the press service of the government of the Republic reported, the investor announced the necessary parameters of the project, under which the site for the future plant will be selected. For example, an important point is the proximity of the raw material base.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, Alga SEZ could become a base for cooperation between Russia and China - the special economic zone is a platform for placing a cooperative trade and logistics base as part of the Great Silk Road development program.

The Alga SEZ is located in the territories of the Ishimbay, Sterlitamak, and Ufa districts on five separate sites with a total area of 763 hectares, which allows for the placement of enterprises in a cluster type, grouping them by industry, similarity of technologies and raw material base.
